Help
Install it, allow it to see the shortcut keys, and free the system shortcut.
Getting started
- Open the DMG and drag Langouste to Applications.
- Open it. The icon appears in the menu bar.
- Allow Accessibility when macOS asks.
- Open Settings from the menu bar icon and record your shortcuts.
Free the system shortcut
- Open System Settings › Keyboard › Keyboard Shortcuts › Input Sources.
- Set “Press 🌐 key to” to Do Nothing if you use Fn, and turn off “Select the previous input source” if it uses the keys you gave to Langouste.
Launch at login
- Open Settings › General and switch on Launch at login.
- This needs macOS 13 or later; on macOS 12 add Langouste to Login Items by hand.
The icon is crossed out
- A crossed-out icon on the app means this Mac is older than macOS 12.
